FACTOR O2

Lightweight Road Bike

Factor’s O2 is a lightweight, refined all-rounder, built for high performance, all-day comfort and exceptional value. It’s ready for any challenge.

OVERVIEW

This second generation of O2 benefits from technology developed for the revolutionary O2 VAM, making it stronger, lighter and more efficient than ever. The O2 continues to be offered in both rim and disc brake versions.

The O2 represents amazing value for money because it includes everything Factor knows about building industry-leading carbon bikes in a more affordable package. Factor has never been about compromise and it wasn’t about to start here.

You can think of the O2 as the little brother to the O2 VAM. It comes from the same mould and is made with the same process, only without the incredibly exotic and expensive ingredients. It’s a lightweight all-rounder, with the performance to climb like a rocket, descend like it’s on rails, and ride all day with assured predictability and fantastic comfort. Those qualities are amplified by a maximum tyre clearance of 30mm, giving you the option to add extra comfort, grip and confidence.

World Tour Approved

The steering geometry is derived from the O2 VAM and, therefore, approved by WorldTour professionals. What’s more, it features both consistent trail and progressive stack/reach figures across the entire size range, ensuring every customer has the best experience.

DESIGN

BRILLIANTLY ENGINEERED

The performance of the O2 is owed to one of the most significant engineering breakthroughs in carbon bike manufacturing for many years. Ultra-high pressure moulds are used to remove all excess resin from the carbon laminate, making the carbon stronger, lighter and more efficient, and contributing to the ride quality that makes the O2 such a joy to ride. Because Factor owns its factory, it can choose to deploy cutting-edge technology like this on a more affordable model such as the O2.

Build My O2

Key Features

Provides a perfect balance of torsional and vertical stiffness suited to the load paths

Continuous down tube to chain stay design, via the asymmetric BB, creates unparalleled power transfer stiffness

The O2 can accommodate both mechanical and electronic shift cables internally through the frame

Extensive R&D went into achieving the perfect blend of lightness, precision, control and comfort

The handling and fit geometry of the OSTRO are both near identical to the O2 and O2 VAM, which makes it easy for the pros to switch between models and eliminates that issue when you’re choosing which Factor to buy

The Factor O2 is available in either rim or disc brakes
