Factor OSTRO VAM Scarab Ltd Edition
Special edition colourway from Factor using iridescent paint pigmentation
Inspired particularly by the scarab beetle’s iridescent shell, the Factor OSTRO VAM Scarab uses iridescent paint pigmentation to create an effect that makes the colour change as you move around the frame.
The effect is achieved by using an anti-absorbent pigment that reflects the light and results in a prism effect. As you move around the bike, you see the light hit the frame and reflect at different angles as you move, creating a different colour tone.
The effect makes the frame beautiful enough to hang on a gallery wall, but that would be a waste considering the OSTRO VAM is one of best racing bikes available.
