Black Inc Handlebar

Made from a specific mixture of carbon fibre, the Black Inc Road Handlebar is a continuous structure that is both torsionally strong as well as vertically compliant for small bump and road chatter absorption. With a low weight that belies its durability, this Handlebar provides the best touchpoint for long rides on the road.

£310.00

The Black Inc Handlebar follows the aerodynamic and ergonomic lessons learned during the design and development of the Black Inc Integrated Barstem. This carbon fiber handlebar withstands torsional forces caused when sprinting or climbing vigorously, while still offering a vertical compliance to absorb small bumps and road chatter.

The shape of the Road Handlebar uppers has the dual purpose of being aerodynamic as well as comfortable for the hands. Alternatively, the drops have a strategically variable radius to offer greater comfort and ease of hand movement along for multiple positions according to varied terrains. Meanwhile, they gently flare to ensure a high level of comfort and control when descending, and also helps open up the space to ensure the wrist clears the upper bend when sprinting.

The Road Handlebar is compatible with both traditional external cable routing and modern internal routed options. Co-moulded brake and shifter cable housing grooves guarantees that whichever system is used, the bar will present an extremely aero face to the on-coming wind. And for electric groupsets, the bar end neatly houses a junction box.
