The Purest Expression of Fast Gravel
Designed for modern gravel racing, the ELARA combines road-bike responsiveness with the tyre clearance, stability, and control needed to maintain race pace over rough terrain. With clearance for tyres up to 57mm, aerodynamic development derived from Factor’s fastest road bikes and a lightweight true-monocoque frame, it brings a distinctly road-racing approach to gravel.

What began as a way to escape the roads has evolved into one of cycling’s most competitive disciplines, with races now demanding the same levels of speed, efficiency and precision as road racing.
The ELARA was designed specifically for this new generation of gravel racing.
It is not an adventure bike that happens to be fast. It is not an endurance bike with wider tyres. It is a race bike developed from the outset around maintaining speed across rough surfaces.
That means road-derived geometry, aggressive positioning, aerodynamic efficiency and responsive handling, combined with the ability to run substantially wider tyres when the course demands it.
The result is a gravel bike that lets you attack rough terrain without giving away speed.

The ELARA sits at the sharp end of Factor's gravel range.
Where the SARANA is built around endurance and long-distance racing, and the ALUTO balances speed with all-round gravel capability, the ELARA is uncompromisingly focused on race speed.
Its geometry draws inspiration from Factor’s road bikes, offering a familiar position for riders accustomed to high-performance road bikes. A longer reach, aggressive rider position, tuned trail and tight chainstays combine to deliver sharp, predictable handling.
The difference is what happens when the road gets rough.
The ELARA’s geometry and frame construction are designed around large-volume gravel tyres, with up to 57mm clearance. Rather than treating wider tyres as a compromise, Factor has engineered the bike around them, allowing the rider to maintain momentum, traction and control when the surface deteriorates.

57mm Tyre Clearance
More tyre doesn't have to mean less speed.
The ELARA can accommodate tyres up to 57mm, giving racers the option to run significantly more volume when the course demands it.
Larger tyres can absorb impacts, improve traction and reduce rolling resistance across broken surfaces. Most importantly, they allow the rider to carry speed over terrain where a narrower tyre would force them to back off.
The frame has been designed to provide this clearance without resorting to excessively long chainstays, helping preserve the responsive character expected from a Factor race bike.
With 1x, the ELARA can accommodate up to 57mm tyres, while 2x setups can run tyres up to 47mm.

True Monocoque Construction
The ELARA is constructed as a true monocoque frame rather than bonding a front triangle to separate rear stays.
This allows Factor’s engineers to control the frame’s structure as a complete system, tuning the carbon layup for the combination of stiffness, weight and impact control demanded by gravel racing.
The result is a frame weighing under 1100g in a painted size medium, while increasing stiffness around the bottom bracket and head tube compared with its predecessor.

Aero, Where It Matters
Gravel racing doesn't make aerodynamics irrelevant. At race speeds, it makes them more important.
The ELARA takes aerodynamic lessons from Factor’s ONE and OSTRO VAM road bikes, incorporating a narrow hourglass head tube, refined leading-edge transitions and an aero-optimised fork.
CFD validation has demonstrated a 5-8% reduction in drag coefficient compared with the previous OSTRO Gravel, with aerodynamic performance maintained across the larger 45-57mm tyre range.
The objective isn’t simply to make the bike look fast. It is to reduce the energy required to hold speed.

Factor Aero Gravel Fork
The ELARA's fork takes inspiration from the radical aero fork developed for the Factor ONE.
Its deeper profile improves aerodynamic performance while increasing stiffness around the front end, helping the bike remain precise and composed when ridden hard.

The ELARA is designed around large-volume gravel tyres, allowing up to 57mm rubber with a 1x drivetrain. More volume means greater traction, improved impact absorption and the ability to maintain speed across rough surfaces.
Aerodynamic development draws on Factor's ONE and OSTRO VAM programmes, with CFD validation showing measurable reductions in drag compared with the previous OSTRO Gravel.
The one-piece monocoque construction allows Factor to precisely tune stiffness and weight throughout the frame. A painted size medium weighs under 1,100g.
Integrated storage within the downtube provides space for essential tools, spares and riding kit without requiring an external saddle bag.
A UDH/direct-mount rear derailleur interface provides compatibility with modern drivetrain technology and keeps the rear end simple and serviceable.
A threaded T47A bottom bracket provides a robust, serviceable interface while making future maintenance straightforward.
The Black Inc Aero Gravel Bar AB07 integrates the handlebar, stem, computer mounting and cable routing into a clean, aerodynamic package developed specifically for the demands of fast gravel.
