The Vires Velo Experience
We understand how important your new bike is and we have curated an optimum experience to help guide you through the journey
A typical experience day with us would involve:
- A bike fit on our idmatch system to ascertain the optimum size and set up for your new bike
- A test ride on one of our demo bikes, taking in a 17km loop around our Centre, giving you an opportunity to get a feel for the bike at your own pace
- Sit down with our expert team to discuss your ideal build spec, choose your groupset, gear ratios, wheels as well as any custom options and upgrades
- Fresh coffee is readily available throughout your visit
- You will have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you wish and will leave with your customised specification and delivery date for your new bike
- We are able to provide accommodation at a local B&B too, speak to our team for more information.
Based on current stock levels, we are able to turn new build around very quickly and can even facilitate a bike fit and delivery service in one day.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT BIKE
Our experts will be happy to talk you through our range of bikes and componentry to determine the optimum bike for you and your riding goals. This can be done in person in our showroom or virtually by booking an online appointment at a time convenient to you to chat.
We have a fleet of bikes that can be test ridden from our Experience Centre in Norfolk if you wish to experience that unique feeling of riding a Factor. Test rides must be booked in advance. Contact our team to organise your test ride now.
Finding your fit
Achieving your optimum riding position is essential to getting the most from your cycling. We understand that your new bike is a big commitment and we want you to be entirely confident that you have the correct size and set-up to match your riding style and goals.
We offer a state-of-the-art bike fitting service from our Experience Centre, using the idmatch system. This science-driven and self-adjusting fitting system tracks your motion and power output, among many metrics, to identify precisely your optimum position. It will show your correct frame size and exactly how to set up every component to the millimetre.
If you prefer to provide details of a recent bike fit, or of your current bike, our fitting experts can work with you remotely to ascertain the best size for you.
Choosing the right specification
Every bike built at Vires Velo can be tailored to you.
We don’t do a stock build. We work with each customer to choose the most suitable groupset, gearing and components to help you achieve your riding goals on your new bike. Use our online bike builder to see the current options available, delivery timeline and receive a quotation. Our build team will work with you closely to refine your choices once your order is confirmed.
Build Your BikeBuilding your bike
Your new bike will be assembled by hand in our Experience Centre in Norfolk. If you visit us, you can meet the mechanics who will build your bike and see our workshop and the dream builds in progress.
Our build team will work with your chosen components to create a bike as unique as you. They will work with you and use the data from your bike fit to refine your set-up.
Once built your bike is handed over to our fitting team who will make the final adjustments and dial in your fit.
Before any bike leaves our Experience Centre it is put through a rigorous quality control check to make sure the bike and components are working in perfect harmony ready for your maiden voyage.
Build Your Bike
NEW BIKE DAY
Each customer is invited to our Experience Centre in Hethel to collect their new bike. It presents an opportunity for you to meet the workshop team who built it and ask us any questions over a coffee before you take ownership. Nothing beats the New Bike Day feeling and when you do become an owner, you know you're in good company.
New Bike Delivery
Your new bike can also be securely shipped directly to your door (charge applies)
We have developed a bike box that allows us to send your bike almost ready to ride, requiring only a small amount of re-assembly. All you’ll need to do is fit the wheels and install the seatpost and you are set. Our Build Team will send you instructions to assist with the final assembly and are on hand by telephone or video call to offer any help.
