This custom OSTRO VAM build combines cutting-edge performance with classic Italian heritage, reflecting the unique style and passion of its owner.
Our customer, a long-time Italian bike enthusiast, was ready for a new direction after years of riding both vintage and modern frames. The switch to Factor offered an opportunity to move away from the mainstream while embracing a brand known for its engineering excellence and performance pedigree.
The Burnt Orange colourway on Prisma Studio immediately caught the customer’s eye. “If I was going to treat myself to an Ostro, it had to be Prisma, and the Burnt Orange just grabbed me—I kept going back to it.”
The build uses Factor’s block paint option with a gloss Burnt Orange base whilst Bare Carbon details adorn the inside of the downtube, forks and rear triangle. It is finished with Chrome logos on the frame and Burnt Orange on the seatpost and integrated barstem. A set of customised Chrome Black Inc 48|58 wheels complete the bike.
For someone accustomed to Campagnolo, the drivetrain decision was a key element of the build and after much consideration the Super Record Wireless groupset was the favoured choice. “I am so pleased I chose it. It is fabulous and allows me to combine the heritage and romance of an Italian groupset with a state-of-the-art frame.”
