The rim shape was designed using CFD by the same engineers who made the OSTRO so blazingly fast and the result is one of the fastest wheels in the world at this depth.
In tune with the zeitgeist, the FORTY FIVE is available exclusively as a disc-brake tubeless-clincher, optimised for 25-28mm tyres with an internal rim width of 21mm. The profile and external width of 27mm is designed to create a flush interface with the tyre and integrate it into a highly effective aerodynamic shape. The rim is made from ultra-high strength carbon fibre and laced to Black Inc hubs with CeramicSpeed bearings.
